I’m arranging how to improve our English skill. There are 4 parts in English. It is “Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing.” So what do you think that what kind of part is most important? I’d love to say that is Listening. Okay so let’s talk about how to listen to English sentences. And why we can’t listen to English words. Actually fastest way to improve Listening skill is speaking. If we can speak out just like them, why can’t we listen to them? Why it’s hard to listen? Do you know why? It’s simple there are some weird sound in English. Actually it is not weird and common sound in country that using English. English is different compare to Korean. There is some sound that isn’t in Korean. So that is the point. We have to train that kind of sound. First of all it’s kind of pronunciation such as “L, N, D, T, R, TH, S, P, K, Ch, H ………..” This kind of sound is not in Korean. So we have to catch them. And also there is Accent in English. This is also really important part. I think this is the best. Because it makes English totally different compare to Korean. It makes some rhythm and this is really hard to follow. But I think even though it is really hard to follow, we have to try to follow them. This is fastest way to go English. English is kind of tool that is helping our communication. And I think English is amazingly useful. I want to see many people around the world. And if I want to do that, I must speak English. And actually I’m planning to go to America 5 years later. Cause I want to see my some American friends. But I’ve never seen them in person. Cause I just met them through the internet like “Facebook, Sharedtalk.” So I want to meet them in person and I want to share our life. I heard that Korean has been affected by American culture. It’s almost same with Japan. So I would love to see what is different. Of course there’s going to be some drawback in American culture and also Korean culture. So I want to share this kind of feeling and make better than before. And I know I can do it. so I’m going to earn some money during 5 years. Especially performance area is my interest. I want to see that performance culture in America. A few days ago I handle some English news topic and that topic name is “How to be Popular.” And end of that topic, there is some information about Musical Wicked in Broadway. So I tried to find clip from the YouTube. And I got some clip that Kristin Chenoweth performance the song “Popular.” In Musical wicked. It is interesting. It looks really funny. I want to see that kind of musical with my eyes directly. So I’m really expecting the period 5 years later. It’s almost 6:30 so I have to make closer about this topic. So after this class and my group study, I’m going to handle this topic again. I’m in the 407 room of YBM Premier. I used to study in this room. anyway these days there is no room.
