The boy who became more curious about present went across the street to see grandfather.
And he asked just like the boy.
“Is the present that is most precious in the world like the magic staff which I can treat and I can get whatever I want?”
Grandfather answered for his question.
“Not really. There is nothing related with magic or wishes.
The boy just keep working that he has been doing because he can’t understand what older said.
And as time goes by the boy more wanted to know the present.
Even though he got some age like 1 year and 2 year, he just wondered “The present”
If it’s not associated with wish or something, maybe is it kind of present that can move me to other place? Might that place be the totally different place with this? Is it more like travel for me to see people, clothes, horse, house, money. How can I go there?”
He tried to stand to know but finally I went to older and asked.
“Is the present that like time machine that can move me to every place?”
“That is also not. If it’s the time that you can give, you don’t need to have a dream that you’re going to leave to somewhere.
Time was flow
The boy became a teenager.
And as he has got some age, he’s complaining was also growing. He thought he’s going to be happy if he got some age. But just he got a many thing that he want to get, and he wants to do something fun.
He was hurry to success something outside. At that moment he can imagine the story that he made with older, and that thinking was increasing.
He tried to meet the older again.
“Is the present makes me rich or something?”
“Yeah it could happen, that can make you rich enough but you can set the price on the present.”
He was almost in panic after heard that story.
“Didn’t you say if I got that present, I’m going to be happy? Did you?”
“Yeah sure I did, not just that. Even though what you imagine, you can do well. Surely you’re going to success than your thinking.”
“What is the meaning of big success?”
“It’s the small step to go to what you think it is important. In your case now you have a great mark on the test, and you have a great skill in some sports and you can be familiar with your parents and you can get some job after school. So you can get a lot more money. Or just live your life happily and you can enjoy and thanks to what you already have.”
“ that means I have to decide what is the success for me?”
“Yeah all of we also have to do it. Success is the something that we decided by ourselves.”
“So….. there is no one who gave me that kind of present. I don’t think there isn’t someone. I even can’t think about there is present something like that.
