How do you improve your English skill? Do you know how you can improve your English skill?

I would like to talk about this today. I thought that I know how I can improve my English skill. I’ll tell you what. I’ve studying English since august last year. It’s almost 13 months. It’s quite long time, isn’t it? Do you know why I started this English training? I’m sure about what I’m doing. And when I read some book, I realized that I can get a great English skill. It was military service. So When I finished my military service, I immediately find some information about studying English from my book. I want to have ability to speak English. I didn’t have. I couldn’t even say hello at the first time. But now I’m kind of person who can write down the English diary over 620 words. I’m not sure exactly I’m right or not but I can make some conversation with foreigner now. And I am not afraid of foreigner which means I can explain about my history of English training. Do you know why I called training instead of studying? It’s not study it’s train. It’s more like exercise than study. We need to speak in English. And we have to fix our pronunciation. I’m going to tell you why we have to do that. First of all, we have to hear the sound. Almost of Korean can’t hear the sound. What they’re talking exactly because we’re already used to being familiar with Korean letters. So when we got some sound, our brain got that sound in Korean sound. We need to fix this first. The reason that we have to fix our pronunciation is this. If we fix our pronunciation, we can hear the sound because we have that sound. There are around 40 sounds in English but actually the sound that Korean doesn’t have is only 12 sounds. It’s not that many, isn’t it? We have to get the sound. And after we have that sound, we have to understand. Just because we can hear the sound, that doesn’t mean we can understand what they saying. So if we can hear the sounds, we have to train to listen. So what can we do? The reason that we can’t understand the sentence is two things. First, words second, structure. In first case, there’s no way. We have to be used to it with situation. Just memorizing word is not that good way. We have to memorize words with situation. And just because you know the words, that doesn’t mean you’re going to understand when they’re saying in English. We have different structure with English. So if we want to get their structure. The speaking is only way to improve. We have to be familiar with their sentences, especially the sentences that we don’t have. This part is not that easy. But they have simple structure than Korean. So we can get their sentences. And after we can’t get their sentences we have to have background knowledge. There’s a lot of words include the background knowledge. In our case when we’re in middle school 3 grade, we get the Korean language system in our head. Since I was a baby, I’ve made Korean language system by middle school 3 grade. It’s quite long time. We got the perfect system in 16 years. We spend all day long every day. So I think if we want to speak in English just like Korean, we have to train very toughly. Then we’re going to get it. So I want to have some English skill for my traveling. I need conversation skill. If you want to get a score in exam, your way has to change because this is kind of slow way.
