Today I would love to talk about why I’m studying English. This tile is from a message which Isaac sent me. Actually 2weeks ago Ryan told some of our members that we should think about this problem so we need to do that. He suggested for us to make some group study after our special training team about why we’re learning English. I think this title is quite serious. Okay let’s see what I can say about. I was kind of person who doesn’t think about my future. I had just been alive. That is all. I didn’t feel that is need. But what can I do for that? I don’t need to regret because it’s already passed. So all I need to do is learn from the past and apply for real and think about future. So let’s try. The reason why I decided to learn how to speak English is that I want to travel around the world. Of course I can travel around the world even though I don’t learn how to speak English but I don’t want that kind of thing. I want to travel on my own. Today I watched a video and the video name is 127 hours. It was quite interesting. There’s man, who likes travel alone. And he’s been stuck on rock for 127 hours. That’s all. And he finally cut his arm in half. It’s about 5 days. Isn’t it amazing? If I were the main character in the movie, what did I do? All I had to do is just stand as much as I can just like him. I’m not sure why I’m talking about this movie. Okay I need to turn back to my own title. Oh my god, why I’m studying English. I was saying maybe about my dream that’s why I told about movie. Anyway the first time I can think about my future was high school because almost of my friends thought about their future. I just followed the mood. But whenever I thought about that, I can’t find what I want to do at that time. And I was into magic. Have you ever seen magic show? It’s incredible. I started magic because of my friend. The friend’s name is 태규 and I learned taekwondo with him. We had a lot of chance that can share about our future and normal life. At that time he was into magic. So I can start magic naturally. And after I started magic, I would love to do that. I was totally into it. One time I got a chance to show my magic performance with 태규 and It was very successful. And I wanted to keep the moment that the audience was touched by my magic. You’re going to know what I’m talking about if you’re in actor or singer. So I just decided to do magic but my father doesn’t like that. Of course I do understand what he thought because it looks very unstable. But I wanted to do that so I keep my opinion but I failed. And my father forced me to work in some plastic company. And I had worked for 7 months. But the more I worked, the more I learned about it’s not worth for my life. So I told about my things to my parents again and I went to the college for magic. But there was military problem because every Korean man has to go to military service for 2 years. I thought if I don’t finish the military service, I’m going to be hard to do anything. So I had to take a break my semester for my military even though I just finished one semester. Anyway I did it. And in the army, I read some book and the book name is “영어천재가 된 홍대리” It’s about English study book. It’s like novel so I read the book in 3 hours. And I realized a lot of things about English. That is the moment I decided to think about my future more seriously. And now I’m in my college but I’m definitely going to need English in near future. So after my military service I kept taking a break my semester for 1 year and I tried to find how to improve my English skills. It was really hard time to do that but I didn’t give up and now I feel like I can do anything.
